Elizabeth Khoury, DNP, RN

RN
Rush University

Elizabeth R. Khoury, DNP, RN - Dr. Khoury is a 2001 BSN graduate from Loma Linda University. She began her NICU career at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in Southern California and has since worked in various roles including leadership, pediatric ECMO, and NICU transport teams. In her 23 years of experience, Dr. Khoury has supported units ranging from Level II to IV throughout the Western United States. In 2020, amid the pandemic, she began graduate studies at Rush University and completed her Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) DNP in 2024. Her doctoral project was the implementation of a high-fidelity mock code program in a Level III NICU.

In her spare time, which is rare, Lizzie enjoys traveling with her husband and three kids. One of their biggest bucket list items is to attend a Major League Baseball game in every stadium.
