Alecia J. Karr, DNP, APRN, CPNP-AC

Nationwide Children's Hospital

Dr. Alecia Karr is certified as an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner at Nationwide Childrens Hospital in Columbus, OH. She works as a neonatal APN and specializes in the care of infants with Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD). She is a member of the BPD Collaborative and chairs the Bedside Care Subgroup. This collaborative consists of 46 centers across the US and five international partners that are dedicated to the ongoing care of patients with BPD. Dr. Karr was published for her research in Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) in 2022 and she continues her research in the area of BPD management. Since joining the Comprehensive Center for Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia in 2020, she had attended multiple local, regional, and national conferences where she has shared her knowledge and expertise in the care of patients with BPD.
