Assistant Professor and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital
Helen Nation, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, C-NPT is both a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt as well as an Assistant Professor for Vanderbilt University, School of Nursing in the NNP Program. She began her nursing career in the NICU in 2003, later transitioned to the NNP role in 2007 after graduating from Vanderbilt University. She later received her DNP in 2020 from Duke University with project focus on increasing SSC in the ELBW population. In her spare time, she spends her time at the ranch improving my horsemanship and finding solitude on the trails!
