Mark McManis, PhD

Dr. Mark McManis, Ph.D. is senior faculty at Baylor College of Medicine and Director of Neurodiagnostic Research at Christus Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He has over 20 years of experience in pediatric clinical neuroscience, specializing in blending neurophysiology and neuroimaging to develop functional brain maps. In addition to his clinical work, he has focused on developing advanced tools using artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of neurodiagnoses. These AI tools analyze vast amounts of neurophysiological and neuroimaging data quickly, identifying patterns and anomalies that might be missed by the human eye. This not only accelerates the diagnostic process but also increases its reliability, leading to better treatment plans and outcomes for children suffering from neurological conditions.
