Luann R. Jones, DNP, RN, NE-BC

Luann Jones, DNP, RN, NE-BC – Dr. Jones is a board-certified nurse executive and former board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner who served as the Neonatal Services Director at Arkansas Children’s Hospital for 10 years (2012-2022). She spent the first 28 years of her 30-year nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, which is the only Level 4 unit in the state. She continues to to advocate for and support the neonatal nursing community in her current role as the Director of Customer Success & Project Management at AngelEye Health. Dr. Jones has served as the secretary/treasurer of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN) since October 2020 and completes her final term in October 2024. Dr. Jones' passions are supporting patient- and family-centered care and promoting the professional development of other NICU nurses through education and mentoring.
