Dr. Heather Green-Schembra is a neonatal nurse practitioner from Indianapolis, IN. She received her master’s degree from the University of Indianapolis in 2017 and her doctorate degree from Indiana University in 2021. She has been working in the NICU for 17 years, mostly in level 2 and level 3 settings. Dr. Schembra has a passion for working with the underserved and immigrant population. Dr. Schembra works clinically as nurse practitioner and serves as the team lead for the advanced practice provider group at Indiana’s only safety net health system. She is currently the president of the Central Indiana chapter of NANN. When she’s not taking care of babies in the NICU, Heather loves to spend time traveling with her husband and 4 children. Her dream is to live and work in Hawaii- maybe someday soon 😊
