Bridget Hempel, MD

Bridget A. Hempel, M.D., FAAP is a clinical attending in neonatology at Norton Children's Hospital and an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Louisville. She also holds a Master of Bioethics and Health Policy from Loyola University-Chicago. She has been practicing neonatology for over 17 years and has always had a special interest in tiny baby medicine and ethics at the edge of viability. She is a medical leader for the Tiny Baby Unit at Norton Children's Hospital, a level IV NICU serving the greater Louisville area and regional referrals.
