Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Jenna Staggs is a nationally certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Educator with nearly two decades of clinical and academic experience. She currently practices at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Orlando, FL and serves as an Instructor of Medical Education at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Staggs specializes in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nurse education, and is deeply committed to leadership and mentorship in the neonatal community. She has held faculty roles across multiple universities, contributed to national neonatal nurse practitioner curriculum standards, and published in peer-reviewed journals, including Advances in Neonatal Care.
She is the 2023 NANN APRN Rising Star award recipient and an active voice in nursing advocacy through state and national organizations. Dr. Staggs combines clinical excellence with a passion for advancing the profession and improving outcomes for the most vulnerable patients and their families.
