In this presentation, the NANN delegates to the Republic of Fiji will discuss their experiences in Fiji. The discussion will include topics such as the healthcare system in Fiji, experiences from the NICU in Fiji, cultural experiences and overall takeaways from the delegation. The delegates will discuss the impact attending this delegation has had on their lives since returning home. The panel will also discuss the benefits of attending the delegation and the impact on their relationships with other neonatal nurses and colleagues from around the country and around the world.

Learning Outcome(s):

At the conclusion of this presentation, the learner will be able to:
  1. The learner will identify the benefits of attending an international delegation as outlined by the delegates.
  2. The learner will identify the major barriers to NICU care in Fiji.
  3. The learner will identify the recent improvements to NICU care in Fiji.
